In person in London, Ontario and virtually across the province.

Alison Bekendam, RSW, MSW
Whether you’re sitting with anxiety that won’t quiet down, navigating a difficult postpartum experience, or carrying something you’ve never had the space to talk about, you deserve support that actually fits your life and your needs.
I’m Alison, a Registered Social Worker and therapist in London, Ontario.I work collaboratively, drawing on approaches grounded in curiosity and compassion. We go at your pace, and the work is always guided by what matters to you.
Before training as a social worker, I spent several years in midwifery, supporting people through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. That experience, combined with ongoing training in Internal Family Systems, trauma, and perinatal mental health, informs everything I bring to my practice. I bring a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and I know how to show up fully during vulnerable moments.
I work with people navigating trauma, birth trauma, perinatal mental health, anxiety, and depression. If you spend a lot of time in your head and wonder what’s underneath that, we’d probably work well together.
