Do you offer sliding scale services?

Yes, I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone. That’s why I offer a pay-what-you-can option, allowing you to choose a payment level that fits your budget. Feel free to contact me if you’d like more information about my sliding scale policy.

Questions About Approach and Fit

Do I have to be a parent to work with you?

No, my clients have a range of experiences and concerns. What matters is that we both feel like a good fit for each other.

While my midwifery background does give me particular depth in perinatal mental health, it also informs my approach to therapy more generally. I deeply understand the body-brain connection and know how to help you access your inner strength and wisdom.

What if I’m not sure therapy is right for me?

That uncertainty is completely normal. The free consultation exists exactly for this reason. It’s a low-stakes chance to ask questions and see how it feels before deciding anything.

Do you offer any specialized therapeutic approaches?

My primary lens is Internal Family Systems (IFS). Alongside that, I bring a genuine orientation toward compassion. We know that lasting change usually comes from compassion and curiosity, not shame or pure willpower.
I am also trained to offer Rewind and Flash for trauma reprocessing. And I a draw on other approaches like ACT, CBT, and DBT when needed.
I always act in service of what fits you, not a fixed protocol.

Have you worked with someone like me?

Every person is unique, and your identity is shaped by a combination of experiences, background, culture, and beliefs that are entirely your own. While I probably have not worked with someone exactly like you, I have likely worked with someone facing similar challenges and pursuing similar goals. What matters most is that I’m ready to meet you where you are, with genuine curiosity and without assumptions. It would be a privilege to work with you.

What if I have had a bad experience in therapy?

That’s actually one of the most common reasons people reach out. The consultation gives you an opportunity to see if this feels different. There’s no obligation to commit. And if I’m not the right therapist for you, I can help connect you with someone who might be a better fit.
